Leo Mason is an artist who specialises in multiple exposure sports and dance photography.
He became a professional photographer in 1975 after an early career as an advertising art director.
After a short period working on the Observer newspaper and other national papers, he founded the London based SPLIT SECOND PHOTO AGENCY.
During his career, he has worked and contributed to all the worlds top magazines including TIME Magazine, Sports Illustrated, LIFE Magazine, NEWSWEEK, USA TODAY, GQ Magazine, Paris-Match, STERN and many others.
He has covered 10 Summer Olympic Games from 1976-2012, plus 4 Winter Games, FIFA World Cups and most of the worlds major sporting events.
He is an associate member of the Royal Photographic Society and holds over 18 major photographic awards.
Leo specialises in multiple exposure sports and dance photography. He has photographed some of the worlds best principal dancers and ballerina’s: Carlos Acosta, Natalia Osipova, Tamara Rojo, Vadim Muatagirov, Daria Klimetova, Ivan Vasilev at Covent Garden Sadlers Wells and the London Coliseum.
