Dazzling Blooms

Fresh morning breeze, cool green meadows, fragrant gardens, and blooming flowers. Let these vibrant artworks incite you to enjoy the lushness of nature.

VROOM WITH A VIEW - DAVID YEO

The overall winning image of the British Life Photography Competition inspired by the democratisation of photography in the twenty-first century, this quintessentially British caravan reflects all that is good about the British countryside.

PYECOMBE POPPIES - MATT FREESTONE

The light only adds to the stark chromatic juxtaposition of the red petals set against the green foliage as the sunshine skips across the tops of the fields.

SAKURA RIVER - SHUMON SAITO

A tunnel of cherry blossom trees is also known as a Sakura river. These trees, shot at night in Tokyo, create a magnificent tunnel of pink.

MORNING ROSE - JASPER DALGLIESH

A delicate photograph of a rain-drenched rose.

MEDITATION IX - JURGITA GERLIKAITE

This chromatic, almost kaleidoscopic view of the natural world is an artistic language that is singular to Gerlikaite. Here, she transforms the leaves of the rainforest into a psychedelic sea of green. Its effect is both bewilderingly beautiful and calming at the same time.

FLOWERS 11.68 - ANDY WARHOL

Originally first published in 1970 and based on a photograph by nature photographer Patricia Caulfield, Andy Warhol made prints of the Mandrinette flower with each print featuring the blooms petals in various colours.

RAIN DANCE - YONG LIN TAN

This road leads to the highway to Pendang, in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. Warm greens of the rice crops spark off the deep greys of the foreboding skies. Alone in this expansive vista, the old man cuts a lonely figure.

ABANDONED FARM - DARWIN WIGGETT

Here, Darwin captures an old Canadian truck buried within deep grasses. The industrial patina of the weathered and rusted truck contrasted perfectly with the yellows, grey and blues that colour the rest of the scene.

GRASS IN THE MORNING LIGHT - TAL PAZ-FRIDMAN

After a night of heavy downpour, I decided to take a hike in the surrounding fields near where I live. I noticed light sparkling in the raindrops hanging from the grass far away in the distance.

ROSE GARDEN - ANNE-BRITT KRISTIANSEN

The Rose Garden symbolises the beautiful but difficult and thorny path through childhood. The silhouettes of three young children are overlayed on top an abstracted conception of a rose garden.
