Melrose Ave
As Johnny Thornton recounts, "Shot in Cabbell Street, where I lived with my first girlfriend in the UK, Susan Mary Young. The model was Rita Pennington. The chair was from a local shop in Marylebone and had been designed to seat 2-3 people in the garden, I just loved the look of it. The title comes from a David Hockney print that I left in the flat when I walked out leaving Susan and my young daughter Saskia. I left with just my cameras, clothes and my Art Nouveau wardrobe. I still have the wardrobe, but sadly my daughter hasn't spoken to me for 40 years."
"A photograph is captured in a split second but can last for an eternity."
