Whilst writing this months article for ONTrend it occurred to me just how stylish Maurizio Pellizzoni is. Everywhere I look at the moment I see metallics, both used in luxury accessories and every day products – stationery, lamps, mirrors, mugs, wash bags, tattoos, shoes and now KitchenAid’s Copper Pro Line Mixer. This really is a style to bring into your space.
It was once thought that adding metallic materials and finishes into your home was rather an extravagant and bold statement. However, today they can be bold or subdued, fitting with any décor. With the wide range or hues on offer a metallic palette can be cooler, with silver and pewter encompassing blues and greys or for the warmer style, copper, gold and bronze merged with rose coloured tones.
